Once you decide on a type, you’ll need to select the right unit for you. Consider the following:
- Your home’s electrical system should meet the unit’s power requirements.
- Check out your power source and make sure to match the unit to that outlet.
- You’ll want a filter that slides out for easy cleaning.
- Digital readout for the thermostat setting.
- If you intend on mounting it in the corner of the room, then it is best to look for a unit that can direct its airflow in the desired direction.
- Built-in timer.
