New Apple TV
Apple’s long-awaited fourth-generation Apple TV features the brand new OS, “tvOS”, most noticeably includes deep Siri integration. The device also house an A8 processor and 32 / 64GB storage, along with a touch-based remote control that doubles as a gaming controller. Although the newest order will not ship out to customers until late October, lets have a peak into why it’s worth the hype:
- Full App Store with SDK for developers, features traditional apps like Netflix, but also hosts a myriad of new apps like multiple network television channels, iMusic, and more.
- New “tvOS” operating system, takes an iOS 9 style design approach, the new interface is much more akin to a typical iOS device, on your tv screen.
- Touch-based remote that doubles as a controller
- A8 processor, much faster than previous Apple TV device
- 32 or 64GB storage options
- Enhanced Siri integration to improve control experience along with the touch-based remote.
However we do notice the device does not support web browsing. You won’t want to do that with a remote anyway. Save that for the iPad Pro.
