World Class Customer Service At Work

Today we would like to share a story that comes directly from the world class Luther Sales customer service center! Deborah is one of our many friendly customer service agents who will help you with any questions or issues you have about our company or anything you order from us.

” I always keep in mind is that a customer may be upset about  their order, but I have the power to help. Here is an example that happened recently.”

“Last week a customer called to check the delivery status on her furniture order because she thought it was delayed. I could see that the delivery was still within the 4-6 week delivery period. The customer was very upset that she hadn’t received her order yet and told me she was thinking of canceling it if she did not get an immediate answer on when the furniture would be delivered. At that point I advised her that we would do everything we could to find out when her furniture would be delivered and get her order to her as fast as possible. I was determined to keep her happy.”

“I retrieved her file and contacted the manufacturer as well as the delivery agent, and kept calling until I was able to confirm when her furniture would be delivered. I found out that her order would be delivered in the following week, and that she would be called to set up the date and time to receive it.  I called the customer back, and although she would not be receiving her delivery that week, she was happy that she knew when she could expect it!”
